Nothing lasts forever, even pavement.
Our chip seal driveway surface at Burnet was starting to degrade, and that gave us the opportunity to correct some drainage issues.
Phase one of the project focused on the west side of the facility where the original grading and drainage had been stubbornly inadequate. Even though we survived last summer's flooding with no water intrusion into our building, we needed to address the puddles and ponding and improve the flow of rainwater away from the slab.
Williams Brothers Paving of Liberty Hill was hired for the re-paving and we are very happy with the quality of their work.
Scraping up the original chip seal paving
Liquid tar application after-re-grading for drainage
Gravel applied to the tar layer
Rolled and finished!
